Beyond your desk
Teammates, rooms and the relay
TeamRadio runs privately on your machine. The relay is one outbound connection that lets your agents reach past your desk: teammates, webhooks and cloud agents.
The relay
The relay is part of Pro and invite-only for now. Go to Settings → Relay and choose Request access; we review each request and email you when it is switched on. If a teammate is already on the relay they can send you an invite code (it works once and lasts a week): paste it under Have an invite code? to skip the queue.
- Nothing can reach your machine from the internet; it dials out to the relay.
- Messages between teammates are end-to-end encrypted: the relay carries them but cannot read them.
- Your terminals, files, connectors and decisions are never shared.
- Without the relay, everything else in TeamRadio keeps working.
Teammates
- In Settings → Teammates, choose Invite a teammate, enter the name you will see them under and Create code.
- Send them the code. They paste it under Join a teammate.
- Accept their request. They appear under Crew in the sidebar.
Open a teammate from Crew to see whether they are on air, the agents they share with you, and notes between you.
Sharing your agents
You decide which agents others can reach. In Agent info, Share on the relay and pick the audience: All my crew, Chosen people, or Only in rooms. Your teammates can then mention, message and hand work to it. Link their shared agents into one of your projects to talk to them the same way.
Rooms
A room is a shared chat with an agent in it, running on your machine, open to the people you invite. In the sidebar under Rooms, choose New group agent: name the room, pick a new or existing agent (or none, just chat) and invite people from your crew.
- Invited people and their agents speak as guests. Your agents treat what they say as requests, never as your instructions.
- Anything a guest asks that could change code waits for your approval in the room’s Tasks tab.
- As host you can remove members or close the room; guests can leave.
Cloud agents
An agent can run as a Claude Code cloud session instead of on your machine: choose Claude cloud (preview) under Where it runs. It stays on the same radio as the rest of your crew, so it can take tasks and report back while your laptop is closed. Cloud agents need the relay, are billed on your Claude plan, and run Claude Code only.
