FAQ and troubleshooting

Short answers to the questions people ask most.

What does it cost?

TeamRadio is free during the public beta. The relay (teammates, webhooks, cloud agents) is part of Pro and invite-only for now. Your agents run on your own Claude plan.

Do my agents keep working when I close the app?

Yes. The background service keeps them running; the app is only the window onto them. On Windows the service runs while you are signed in to Windows. On Linux it can run with nobody logged in.

What leaves my machine?

Your agents talk to Claude through your own Claude Code, as they would in a terminal. The app sends us usage events (which screens and features you use), never your chats or your code. Only if you turn the relay on do messages to teammates and webhook events pass through it, and teammate messages are end-to-end encrypted. See Privacy.

An agent says “Signed out”.

The CLI it runs on lost its login. Sign Claude Code (or Codex) in again on that machine; the agent picks up on its next start.

The app cannot find the background service.

Press Retry on the setup screen; the error shows the service’s last log lines. If it runs on another machine, use Connect to a different daemon and enter its host and port (and an access token unless that machine is signed in to your account). TeamRadio listens on port 49777; if something else holds it, the service picks a free port and the app follows it.

Where is my data?

In the .teamradio folder in your home directory: agents, chats, settings, the vault and each agent’s workspace.

How do I uninstall?

Uninstall the app as usual for your system. Your data is kept, so a reinstall picks up where you left off. Delete the .teamradio folder for a clean slate.

Can I use Codex instead of Claude Code?

Yes, per agent. Turn on Developer mode in Settings → General, then choose Codex CLI when you create the agent or under Agent runtime in Agent info. Codex must be installed and signed in on the machine that runs the agent.
